I also take contracts as an editor helping others bring their work into the world. I take pride in my ability to assist others without imposing my own writing style. I have consulted at all stages of the process, from initial brainstorming to final copyediting.

  • Elaya Spirit Healing

    Website

    In 2026, I helped Christiane Bantel with the English translation and editing of the website for her new business. This was a fun challenge, making sure her intention in the original German was not lost in the English translation. This involved lots of phone discussions and shared Google docs.

  • Save Our River

    Documentary

    In the fall of 2021, I assisted the Wood River Land Trust in Idaho with editing the script for a documentary they were making on issues in their local watershed. I enjoy script editing because I have to think about how it will sound when read out loud and in conjunction with the images and film. Since so much is communicated visually, the words have to be secondary and complimentary.

  • Red Barn Granola

    Product

    In 2019, I contracted with Red Barn Granola to brainstorm and writing the backstory that would be printed on the back of the granola bags. The founder had a very clear vision and vibe, and it was fun for me to help her bring that to life in words.

  • The Adventures of Ellie

    Book

    In 2020, I contracted with social and emotional learning expert, Jaime Rivetts, to help her with some early editing of drafts of her first book, The Adventures of Ellie: The Strangest of Times.‍ ‍

  • Cover Letters, Essays

    Applications
